If you’re an honest person, you must be ashamed of something you have done. No one is that perfect that doesn’t have anything to be ashamed of. We’re only humans, not gods. And if you’re an honest person, you’d be ashamed of hurting innocent people. That’s what honest people do: they think about someone else’s feelings. If you’re only honest with yourself, it means you’re selfish
Honesty is about actions, not words. Good words won’t cover up ugly actions.
